The University of Miami's Department of Community Service (DOCS) four student run free centers: the Caridad Clinic in Boynton Beach, the Center for Haitian Studies (CHS) Center in Little Haiti, the IDEA DOCS Night Center in Overtown, and the San Juan Bosco (SJB) Center in Allapattah. All offer unique opportunities for medical students to provide back to the neighborhood, receive mentorship from physicians, and gain experience in acting as an integral part of the health care team.
